Deeply explore one yoga pose each month
Are you really in Sukhasana? Shins need to be parallel with feet hidden under opposite knee.
Sit in the pose for a long time – 5-10 minutes. What comes up?
Compare being on a lift and not. What changes?
How is this pose different from Siddhasana? Compare the two. When would one be more appropriate than the other?

I did it for the first time (outside of my yoga class) last night and I slept like a baby! Normally a pose I do avoid, however, after my "success" last night - I'm doing it again tonight! It felt great.
Is something holding me back? I started this month with good intentions and tried for several nights to do Savasana (on the floor even, instead of my usually on the bed). My kids kept waking up or coming into my room long after they'd been put to bed! I really can't blame it on them - am I just looking for an excuse not to do it? I'm recommitting tonight!
I just found out about this! Thank you for inviting me Laura, I have actually been going deeper into Savasana with students for the past week! We just touch the surface it seems, yet when I guide them deeper & longer, it is profoundly connecting. There is less discussion after class, everyone is quieter. This inspires me to practice it for myself now & I'll comment again later!
